Welcome to CubaVida Band, an exciting eight piece band offering a unique

sound emerging from Latin,Jazz,Funk,Reggae-Ton,Salsa music, offering an

extraordinary atmosphere on and off THE DANCE FLOOR.

With the most up to date Latin Music(Timba) from CUBA with original tunes,original

harmony and rhythm,from some of the best LATIN GRAMMY NOMINEE

composers including TONY PEREZ(Luz Viajera)

CubaVida Band was formed in 2002 by Percussionist -Pianist Jesus Moreau

Batallan and made one of the leading band exponent in UK and Europe of the

new exciting Cuban sound "Timba".

The members of the band are experinced performers of Latin American

Rhythms how have come together to play this new sound of cuba "Timba".The

band performed throughout the UK and also in Europe,including The Lowry in

Manchester,Alexander's Jazz Theatre- Rufus Court,Matt & Phreds Jazz Club in

Manchester,Manchester Jazz Festival2007,Ledbury Festival,Respect Festival in

London and many more.....

The line up of the band and the individual skills of the musicians create a

display of different styles with a variety of instruments.

The band consists of 3 horns,2 percussionists,Piano,bass and Cuban
